ROAD TO KATMANDU

(Ambrose/Backer)

Once upon a time, Katmandu was ruled by an evil man. The king of
Nepal heard the people moan and groan, so he sent some troops to
end this horrible fairy-tale. But after all, none of his well trained
fighters succeeded. The king got sad, coz he knew there was only one
possibility left… “The soldier of fortune” This is hi(s)story.

Hired by a Nepal king, to face the desert I ride the wind.
Maharajah Dakahyl, beware of my steel it’s out to kill.
I’ve been payed to see you dead and have the orders to bring Your head.
I’m looking forward on this show, another hundred miles to go.

I guess I’ll always be like I have always been before.

On the road to Katmandu, a mercenary’s looking for you.
On the road to Katmandu, times of trouble now face the truth.
On the road to Katmandu, a mercenary’s looking for you.
On the road to Katmandu, times of trouble now face the truth.

Ahead the Himalaya rise, it’s no Fata Morgana before my eyes.
Approaching Sherpas from the east, tired to suffer unto the beast.
Cry for battle, raise my sword, ready to assault the Maharajah’s court.
Good-bye mister Dakahyl, who’s the next arrange your will.

I guess I’ll always be like I have always been before.

On the road to Katmandu, a mercenary’s looking for you.
On the road to Katmandu, times of trouble now face the truth.
